Update from Our Librarian

Hello Thomson Families! We are so excited to finally be able to say that the Thomson Library is officially open for business! We have had all of our classes circulate through the library at least once during the past few weeks, and students have been getting reacquainted with the space and all of the new books we’ve been able to add over the summer. Many teachers and parents have been asking about volunteers being able to help out in the library. As of right now, we are still exploring how best to safely implement a volunteer program. We would like to begin opening up the possibility of volunteers by having one or two parents volunteer to help shelve checked-in books at some point during the week. We understand that most parents would wish to be able to volunteer during their child’s library time, but for the time being, and for the safety of all involved, we ask that volunteers only come in before library hours (between 8:10-9am) from Monday through Friday.
